EAR WAVE EVENT wants your music!

None of the music on this website exists. But don't you wish it did? The reviews that make up this preview of EAR WAVE EVENT were created by a neural network fed and trained on contemporary music press. Inverting the normal flow of music criticism, we invite artists to use these reviews prescriptively - to create realizations of musics 'imagined' by a prosthetic mind.

Please send submissions by January 22nd, 2020.

After February 3rd, 2020, EAR WAVE EVENT Issue 5, a complete 'music magazine,' will be released with YOUR audio.

Simply hit the submit button on any given review to add your music.

The Art Of Fighting Cocks

"The Art Of Fighting Cocks" is a series of eight works in which an anonymous artist creates a space for dogs to bark, their owners to lick, and aggression to level out. "The Art Of Fighting Cocks" is a playful and nastily violent exercise in escalation, repeated as if it were a game. The four-part piece “Prey” is a brutal explosion of barking, licking, and sharp looking metal. It’s more fun with the dogs barking than licking their chops. "The Art Of Fighting Cocks" is art for dogs, and it’s effective in provoking a range of emotions – physical, emotional, and cognitive.
