EAR WAVE EVENT wants your music!

None of the music on this website exists. But don't you wish it did? The reviews that make up this preview of EAR WAVE EVENT were created by a neural network fed and trained on contemporary music press. Inverting the normal flow of music criticism, we invite artists to use these reviews prescriptively - to create realizations of musics 'imagined' by a prosthetic mind.

Please send submissions by January 22nd, 2020.

After February 3rd, 2020, EAR WAVE EVENT Issue 5, a complete 'music magazine,' will be released with YOUR audio.

Richard Fischer
Unshelves

In response to the current state of the art in digital music production and the increasing popularity of smartphone apps, the music of Richard Fischer has seen a dramatic increase in sales. The German born producer of techno-pop, electro, noise and noise-pop, these days his output is in the house and techno genres, and in a space where techno is already in decline. This release is an album of over 270 minutes of music, stretching over seven volumes. The title track is a frenetic techno cut with a trance feel; a remix of the same track featuring Russel ‘Ironman’ Stanhope sees the track reaching number two. “I’ve Got News For You” is a slightly tweaked version featuring real voices, while “Sky Diver” is a cathartic rave version with the lyrics changed to appear more dramatic.
